Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC25) Scheduled for June 9–13, 2025

Apple has officially announced the return of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will take place online from June 9 to June 13, 2025. Developers and students will also have the opportunity to join an exclusive in-person event at Apple Park on June 9.

WWDC25, free for all developers, will showcase the latest advancements in Apple’s software ecosystem. The event aims to provide developers with access to Apple experts and insights into new tools, new OS’s versions like macOS, iOS 19, visionOS and watchOS, frameworks, and features that will empower innovation.

Susan Prescott, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed enthusiasm about the event: “We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community. We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”

Key Highlights of WWDC25

  • Online Access: Developers can tune in to the Keynote and participate in video sessions, online labs, and other activities via the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel.
  • In-Person Event at Apple Park: On June 9, attendees at Apple Park can watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union live, meet Apple experts in labs, and engage in special activities. Space is limited; details for applying are available on the WWDC25 website.
  • Swift Student Challenge: Apple continues its commitment to supporting young talent through the Swift Student Challenge. Winners will be notified on March 27 and may apply for the in-person event at Apple Park. Distinguished winners will be invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience.

Apple will release additional details about WWDC25 through its Developer app and website as the conference approaches.
